About
She first decided to become a vet when she assisted a vet that tended to the animals that she had as a child on her small farm. When she lost a horse that she loved dearly, she knew that she wanted to dedicate her life to helping animals that could not help themselves.
After she qualified as a veterinarian she went on to do her Masters degree in Bovine (cattle) medicine. She then worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a few years, but realised her true passion was working with pets and their owners.
“I love interacting with clients and building a relationship with them as well as their pet. It’s amazing to give a puppy his first vaccine and see him grow up into such an integral part of the family,” Dr Koba describes.
Dr Koba is very passionate about farm animals, particularly alpacas, and she is extremely knowledgeable about them. She also absolutely loves bunnies!
